Donghae DHT145AS on 2014 Isuzu FRR60

The Donghae DHT145AS is one of the most compact straight insulated telescopic booms available in New Zealand. Fitted on an Isuzu FRR600, it’s ideal for a wide range of urban applications from streetlighting and low level live line work to tree trimming around lines.

The boom provides 16.5m of work height (14.5m bucket floor). The end mounted full size 2-man bucket has a SWL of 250kg and a 350 degree swivel. The four outriggers go straight down rather than the traditional H-type which extend out either  side of the truck. This enables the operator to set up within a parking space with no part of the truck or boom intruding into a traffic lane, for example. The straight telescopic boom has zero tail swing and is programmed to avoid contacting any parts of the truck or handrails. Rear bucket stow means a lower travel height, provides safer bucket access, and faster access to the job directly out from the rear.

When fitted to the short wheelbase Isuzu FRR600 truck, it offers an extremely tight turning circle and plenty of payload and space for onboard storage. Stainless steel toolboxes with drop down doors are standard and additional storage can be provided to suit the application.
